Harpduo Sanne&Sara demonstrate that the harp can be so much more than its traditional image suggests. With their fresh and unconventional approach, they combine classical music with modern influences, improvisation and theatrical elements. They deliberately push the boundaries of their instrument and present the harp in a new and surprising way, inviting audiences into an energetic and accessible concert experience that breaks away from the traditional concert setting.

Sanne&Sara, bestaande uit Sanne Bakker en Sara Brink-Nielsen, waren actief van 2018-2024. Ze wonnen prijzen op het Prinses Christina Concours, Kamermuziek Concours Gelre, speelden in de kamermuziekserie van het Noord Nederlands Orkest en waren meermaals te horen op Radio Klassiek (o.a. bij de Muziekfabriek & de Ochtend van 4). In 2023 tourden Sanne&Sara door het land met hun eigen concertvoorstelling ‘Alles begint met een A’.
